01 / THE BACKGROUND
Context
Ligtas Kabataan is the intervention program I developed from my unpublished master’s research. It is a program output of that study, not the title of the research.
Who it is for
Adolescents and the family, peer, and educational environments that support them.
02 / THE DESIGN QUESTION
The challenge
Translate research findings into practical program components without overstating evidence for effectiveness.
Goals
- Identify support needs beyond a single risk indicator.
- Connect family, peer, emotional, and developmental contexts.
- Build a framework that can be reviewed and evaluated before use.
03 / MY CONTRIBUTION
What I brought to the project
- Research translation
- Needs identification
- Program-component design
04 / THE THINKING
Approach & process
Four components structure the framework: Family Strengthening; Peer Resistance & Leadership; Emotion Regulation & Coping; and Youth Aspirations.
- 01Research
- 02Interpretation
- 03Needs
- 04Program components
- 05Evaluation planning
Key decisions
- Design across multiple support contexts.
- Separate proposed components from demonstrated outcomes.
- Make evaluation a next step rather than an assumed success.

PROJECT EVIDENCEOriginal materials to follow.
Conceptual program summary. A reviewed program manual and implementation evidence will be added when available.
06 / OUTCOME & REFLECTION
What the work shows
A program framework is described in the brief. Delivery, participant evaluation, effectiveness, and implementation dates have not been confirmed.
Reflection & next steps
The next stage should establish feasibility, safeguarding, qualified oversight, and a suitable evaluation plan before claims about impact are made.
